What has fundamentally changed in Computer Science since 2002?

The huge amount of change in operating systems. Even just in Windows. Went from 98, to XP, to Vista, to Windows 8, to Windows 10, etc
And then you have Linux operating system, which not even sure they existed in 2002
Apple updated like crazy since 2002
Databases in general changed
Then you have programming languages that changed and were newly created

If you’re pursuing a passion that hasn’t yielded at least $50k in annual income in your bank account, you gone suffer.

Have a god brother that has been pursuing “music” for the past 15 years. Just sent me a text asking me what I think about this place that does blood plasma collection -400/month. :francis:

security > passion
Story got me clutching my chest :russ:

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Is it really just 1 thing though? Just 1 thing holding you back?

If you quit weed can you succeed at a level higher than you ever have before? Have strong relationships, make more money, be more active in your life?

Why do you smoke? Anxiety? Depression? Grief? Physical pain? Stress?

If it's truly just 1 thing, why hold on to it? What's holding you back from letting go of the weed?

Homeboy never answered your question.

Some people were just destined to be destitute.

But he got a cellphone and access to wifi... Prolly so he can keep up with the changing store hours at the dispensary. So until he answers your question, ima chalk it up to apathy and environment.

@Collateral : we cant help you if you cant help yourself (and we dont mean to the loud/dank/kush either).

Dude prolly rolling up as we speak. Lol

Hey man, if thats what you want in life, live your best high life. And keep going back and forth for toilet paper.

I just seen this female post this online, her page is private so I'll quote it:

"This quarantine has made me realize I truly have no hobbies except going out to eat and spending money. Rather pathetic of me. I wish I was good at something other than eating and starting arguments...."

A lot of peeps getting that wakeup call.
what was her race?

New nikkas are soft:stopitslime:

I can tell which brehs have never been chilling on your mommas couch lazy, jobless eating chips trying to watch Joe Judge Brown and thinking about how much change you can scrounge up to buy a black n mild then this nikka comes on the tv straight berating you to your face.

He would have you feeling like shyt:wow: If he could not shame you into getting off your ass then was born a loser :francis:

The young people now would just sit on the couch and demand all kinds of social policies to put money in their pockets without getting up off their asses and making things happen.

:hhh: how old are y'all nikkas?

i'm 26 w no degree and i make over 75K.

quit all that belly aching. if new nikkas suck, it's because of yall bum ass generation not giving the game.

I'm in my late 30s. What "game"? The young nikkaz don't want to listen. You're doing well now but how will you set yourself up beyond that? How will you compete with others who have a degree? I say this not knowing what field you're in. If you're in a trade then cool, no degree needed for that shyt.

This quarantine is making me realize that basically all of the extroverted/"social butterflies" that I know really just need a lot of attention and aside from their job, don't really want to do anything constructive. Oddly enough, a lot of them have m-5 9-5 salary jobs and are still weekend warriors.

You are at least on a good path. Does your program have internship/co-op? I'd say the best thing to do while you're in school is to align with a good company. Even if it's to work in the summer...and honestly if it's a really good company I'd suggest working for free even (pretty sure they'd pay you). IT is one area where it's cool to have the thoery but if you have corporate experience/working knowledge coming out of school you're ahead.
