feel free to break it down how you want

I'd remove T-Mac and put Jason Kidd, Paul Pierce, or Allen Iverson.

Tracy McGrady is one of my all time favorites, but his career will always be looked back on for what could've been rather than it's undisputed greatness. The other 9 listed don't have that problem, and both Iverson and Kidd arguably got the most out of their abilities.

I would also put Kevin Garnett ahead of Dirk and Wade.

My order looks like this

1.Tim Duncan
2.Kobe Bryant
3.Shaquille Oneal
4.Lebron James
5.Kevin Garnett
6.Dwayne Wade
7.Dirk Nowitzki
8.Kevin Durant
9.Paul Pierce
10.Steve Nash
11.Jason Kidd
12.Allen Iverson
13.Tracy McGrady
14.Chris Webber

I don't know who I'd have at 15? These 14 stand out immediately in my mind as being head and shoulders above their contemporaries. Kevin Durant's inclusion is premature perhaps, but he's so undeniably great already that it's hard to not include him - especially when he's only getting better.

Who am I missing? Should Ray Allen be at 15? Chris Paul? Carmelo Anthony? Tony Parker?

You people who insist that Dirk should ahead of Garnett are living in a bizarro world not based on reality. I'd also argue you started watching basketball in KG's 3rd year with the celtics rather than his prime years in Minnesota.

I love Dirk, but how the fukk do you put him ahead of a guy who is a LAUGHABLY SUPERIOR defender, rebounder, and passer while still offensively efficient and skillful?

Also a man who has a MVP and DPOY under his belt.

Dirk is an all time great, but stop being so damn disrespectful and foolish. He is not ahead of Garnett. Scoring is not everything, and unlike Dirk, KG did...everything.

Duncan>KG>>>Dirk

You people are overrating the hell out of Pierce.

You still never answered my question though.

I don't have footage of those 2002 Playoffs. But if what you said is true, and KG wasn't guarding Dirk, and LaFrentz only played 20 mins in the Game 3, who was KG guarding those other 20-24 minutes he was on the floor and Dallas was playing small ball?

Nash? Finley? Van Exel? Eduardo Najera?

Or did KG just stand in the corner and Dirk had open shots all day...

I'm not getting at you, just wondering who KG was guarding that series if not Dirk :yeshrug:

Dirk Nowitzki 39 pts, 17 reb, playoffs 2002 mavs vs t-wolves game 3 - YouTube

he very first bucket @ :21 is dirk blowing by a helpless garnet for a slick floater....

stop arguing with these goofs b they're revisionists..man like you and me have watched the mavs every year since we were kids, no need to argue with some neegaz that got hard from hearing KG Scream "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE ""

He wasn't assigned to a particular player, as he mostly stayed outside the paint, guardin' the perimeter players. And again, I said "most of the time", as the rest of that video will prove otherwise. :win:

Why u got Nash ahead of those two tho? Is it due to hidin' behind media-selected awards (of which he stole from O'Neal and Bryant, in that order), instead of actual on-court production?

 Yeah, you right. I guess he wasn't guarding Dirk. :yeshrug:

Honestly, that's even worse in my eyes. KG supporters can :pacspit: with that "defense defense defense!!" shyt when he's not even Ding up the other teams best offensive player, who also happens to play Power Forward :scusthov:

I mean seriously, if they want to use the excuse that he needs to save his energy, then his defense is a moot point because nobody cares about KG shutting down Eduardo Najera :heh:
