T-Mac has no business on that list, I'd put AI in place of him. I'd swap Nash with Paul Pierce too. Every player on the list should've reached the Finals at least once

Didn't read the thread but...

1. Tim Duncan
2. Kobe Bryant
3. Shaquille O'Neal
4. Lebron James
5. Dirk Nowitzki
6. Kevin Garnett
7. Dywane Wade
8. Allen Iverson
9. Jason Kidd
10. Paul Pierce
Best list I've seen so far. :ehh:

I would replace Pierce with Steve Nash though and maybe switch Dirk and Garnett.

Timmy lost two playoff series after being up 2-0, lost to the eighth while being the #1 seed, lost 3 series in the WCFs and lost to a lower seed five times. :comeon:

He has 4 championship rings, 2 MVP awards, rookie of the year award and never had a losing season. :mjpls: You can't discredit the Big Fundamental

I'd switch Garnett and Dirk's spots. KD shouldn't be on the list yet if we're going by skill + career accomplishments. Other than that, it looks pretty on point to me, good job.

Garnett needed pierce rondo ray allen Perkins and tony allen to win a ring. Dirk carried a team of washed up bums.

Dallas Mavericks at Minnesota Timberwolves Box Score, April 28, 2002 | Basketball-Reference.com

Dirk dropped 39 points and grabbed 17 boards, playing 43 minutes.

LaFrentz played 17 minutes, Rasho played 21 minutes.

Kevin Garnett played 40 minutes. Who the fukk was guarding Dirk for the 22 minutes that Rasho wasn't on the floor and Dirk was?:usure:

In fact, why don't you tell me who Kevin Garnett was guarding all those minutes that LaFrentz wasn't on the floor. Nash? Finley? Van Exel? :heh:

This is what in trying to figure out

WTF is the point of arguing his defense when he's not even guarding the best offensive player on the floor who just happens to play his same position?

Perhaps Saunders didn't want Garnett exertin' himself on both ends of the floor, who knows, I'm not defendin' Garnett here, I just wanted to point out this fallacy in an otherwise solid argument.

You still never answered my question though.

I don't have footage of those 2002 Playoffs. But if what you said is true, and KG wasn't guarding Dirk, and LaFrentz only played 20 mins in the Game 3, who was KG guarding those other 20-24 minutes he was on the floor and Dallas was playing small ball?

Nash? Finley? Van Exel? Eduardo Najera?

Or did KG just stand in the corner and Dirk had open shots all day...

I'm not getting at you, just wondering who KG was guarding that series if not Dirk :yeshrug:
