I thought the gap between va tech and Mi was similar to the gap between mi and bama

I was just wrong; these dudes is better and michigans run defense is awful. Bama wasn't even trying on offense. Meanwhile, denard couldn't get in rythm and his shotput lob passes were awful.

Worst game I've watched since oregon 07. Alabama was just way better than michigan tonight on both sides of the ball.

Stop oversimplifying. Why hasn't that translated for FSU, Texas and Miami? VA Tech almost certainly had more Southern players than Michigan last year.

This will continue as long as the size disparity exists in the trenches. That's why USC shyts on the SEC so often. You're not bigger than them and they play a pro style offense where you have to respect the run and the pass and can't just dare teams to beat you with the pass because their receivers are ill enough to get at you one on one. They are designed to beat you with just that.

That's exactly the sort of team Hoke is building through recruiting.

i purposely simplified it b/c that's what it comes down to. it's not rocket science. the best athletes come from the south. they will continue to dominate as long as they continue to churn out these physical freaks and developing their high school programs.
