Yeah you may be right. But they've been known to bury segments when it's not Mania season too, they don't care.

Jeff Hardy picked up steam after almost killing himself for years and females fell for it and males gave him a pass because of those stunts. The 2006 return is what really put him over. Not sure what you mean with Hall...he was the definition of swag from late 92-1996 in the WWF.

But it's not Maddox that completely killed the segment; he just brought comedic awkwardness to a segment that was unfortunately already awkward and then Cole threw everyone in the bushes.

Bagwell is objectively horrible.

People really defending Maddox? He SUCKS! That is NOT his character. I'm guessing he's supposed to be like Michael Scott but he can't pull it off. He's terrible.

It really was a painful segment to watch, just surprised how hard they went at buying it to the point that Cole/King were literally talking over the segment.

They didn't even go that hard during the Lauper/Chief Heath/Pipper garbage.
