This show is written so beautifully. Its very hard to make a drama like this and avoid being corny. This is maybe a top 10 network drama of all time.

My wife watches this and I have watched some episodes sporadically

Its too emotionally draining for me and sad..

It’s a tremendous show but it’s just too sad..

I rather watch The Office reruns

Really good finally. I don’t cry much at tv or movies, but I felt that little neck lump quiver…my moms older so easy to put myself in their shoes…really well written. I’m going to pretend Randall becomes President.

Finally finished this (football season is here so binging shows is over). This is a great series despite my issues with these social liberal agendas. Sterling range is crazy. I know he does movies but I really think tv shows are his bag. His character is as irritating as Ruth from Ozark though. Him and Deja relationship was so real. Like I got emotional the way she talked him. Same with her and Malik. i almost cried several times with her. you can't convince me Randall didn't love her more then his own kids. Those nggas was background characters to the very end. I think because he was adopted that he loved her more then all.

What they did to Toby character was unforgivable though. I can't give it all time great status because of that. Kate was likable at first but the end, naw. I wished they explained how she got so fat though. She was fat sure in her teen years. But how in the world did she get that big.

Jack was great despite his imperfection.

Tess- was so glad when they stop focusing in on her and her non-binary. Just an unlikable teen.

Rebecca- is the representation of everything wrong with white liberals.

Lastly, my favorite part acting wise was how the characters had the same mannerism no matter the age. Like older Deja acted like the teen we knew.
