These days, you can just say the word "shyt" during a promo, and the IWC will crown you the next Ric Flair. While guys like Jay Lethal, MVP, & MJF are great on the mic, NOBODY is cutting classic promos like these guys I grew up watching, IMO. I miss the old days.

New Jack is criminally underrated when it comes to wrestlers who cut great promos
The thing about New Jack is that you "believed" what he said. You could believe that he actually wanted to end his opponent's existence. He wanted violence. You could feel his words were a prelude to a real fight.
Arn had that same quality.
Ron Simmons had it.
Foley had it.
Eddie Kingston has it.
Shane Taylor has it.
Heyman has it.

Guys like The Rock, Punk, MJF, and even Bubba Ray Dudley are great talkers, but they don't give me the same feeling. It feels more like performance art than a fight.
