How about this, instead: A Coli breh runs for office AS A DEMOCRAT, he does everything by the book, he follows the rules, but his policy positions are considerably to the left of the mainstream. But he runs AS A DEMOCRAT. He works within the system, within the party.

And then, the party's financial backers spend a hundred million dollars to prop up a controlled opponent in his election.

Do you support the Coli breh or do you say, "Well the other guy is electable."

I remember he was running for mayor and he was saying one of the biggest race issues in politics is the racism within the Democratic Party and how they pretend it’s not happening within the party.

They play a different game.

Keeping the "Status Quo" means just that. Dems ensure that corporations get the most changes that cater to them.

Everyone else gets whatever is left. As long as things don't change too much (because for them, Life is Good)

Repubs want absolute power, which means cutting everyone off that won't play ball.

But that is why sometimes they work together (anytime it comes to industries like Banks. Need money to keep/gain more power).

Dems like money, Repubs like money and power.

They stay in opposition because GOP likes to rock the boat for their own benefit while Dems just want to keep shyt going the way it is now.
