Wow the Lounge isn't that bad. They got a neo soul thread, a r and b thread. reggae, gospel and so on. You know if we actually posted there, there's a lot of potential. Let me see what they talking about.

The thing about R and B threads is the fact that it's all nostalgia driven, rather than a full discussion on the level of hip hop in The Booth. I'm all fine about posting YouTube videos of R and B music, but on the real, lets discuss albums of the year, worst R and B albums, local acts, old school convo, and etc. The R and B section would be thriving due to those possibilities. Until then it's all "WHAT YOU KNOW BOUT DAT" thread with hundreds of YouTube links of the same ole shyt. Not that i'm complaining because R and B, but we need to go further

I actually bought some of the best r and b albums of last year and planning on getting one on vinyl. I'm contributing to the movement. As I said earlier in the thread, the genre is niche so yeah albums may "flop" compared to the stuff that's selling nowadays. I agree the "old r and b" argument is tired, but what can ya do. At the end of the day, "old r and b" is still timeless, hence why there's threads about that "old r and b"

There should be more R&B discussion in the Booth. There are a couple of people on here who love and appreciate the genre and should be able to show that anytime they like.

If you don't "give a fukk" about R&B then you have the option of posting in your normal rap based threads and ignoring the R&B discussions you don't like. It's not like you have don't have options lol.

I think an R&B section would be great in the future. But for now, we gotta work with what we got.
