It takes more time to develop games with bleeding edge visuals, and brand new animations.

They can do stuff like this and get away with little to no criticism.
I dunno man. Not really. Once it's out in the open, Nintendo should have expected it to leak. Like, I'm heavy into high-end headphones. Once the dealers get the notice from the company that a new headphone is coming out, they immediately tell their customers. It's expected.

second party is a separate studio under contract to produce games exclusively for the console maker.
