It's probably cause we don't have a major city like new Orleans and Baltimore. They get more exposure when it comes to food culture,
N.O. world famous for their cuisine, Baltimore known for crabs and crab cakes although we got crabs just like them and grew up on them in the hampton roads area. People forget Virginia share the Chesapeake Bay with Maryland for some reason lol
