David Lee is probably GS best rebounder and inside scorer. What he lacks in defense this series is definitely made up on the boards and O. Plus it's not like anyone is guarding LeBron anyway

Did you see when he was out there? He was getting switched on the pnr on LeBron and got killed. Did any one watch GS last year when he was the starter?
He still sucks. Mozgov can play more and he can score. Lee was in and Mozgov immediately called for the ball on the block when Lee was in.

It got them back in the game immediately because lee was able to stop the perimeter traps they was setting on steph because of his playmaking out of the pnr. It's also not a bad thing that mozgov calling for the ball. Takes it outta lebrons hands. It's not a coincidence that steph got hot when lee got in and I don't think that cavs can score with gs if they are flowing so I don't think the defense will lack much because they will over power them on offense
He doesn't have to play long to be effective
Lee inside scoring is the equivalent to Bron being surrounded by 3pt shooters. He gives Curry space to operate.
He played 13 minutes and GS scored 36 in that quarter. Break up his time and periods where they scored 18 17 points will now be 28 point quarters. That's huge.

There was a great article on the Lee situation few months ago. Basically he got hurt at the wrong time and Kerr didnt want to hurt the momentum/rhythm as the Warriors continued to take off in his abscence

David Lee's still better than most of the Cavs current front lineup. It's crazy how people quickly forget that David Lee's one of the biggest reasons why the Warriors just now started becoming a great team again. My how people quickly forget that it all started with Golden State's original big three which was originally Curry, Thompson, and Lee. Long before Draymond Green's existence. Once upon a time David Lee was considered an All Star caliber player, and people actually even put his name up there with the Kevin Loves, and LaMarcus Aldridges of the league.
