A rebalanced Ninja gaiden 2 would be the GOAT. There is too much bullshyt once you go past way of the Mentor.
DMC4SE is great but that game needed a rebalance too. Vergil is too stupidly powerful.

this is crazy. the combat in the reboot wasn infinite times worse and with less depth than any of the previous games. maybe it was more accessible for people who were new to the series but yeah

I always found it funny that people complained about them being too strong in Marvel, those two are op by nature cause they literally have options to cover anything and everything.
The ones to play are 1, 3, and 4 if you want to the better games of the series, but if you want just the combat and smooth fighting, 3 and 4 are the ones to play.
