Having a roll with someone on the mat for the first time is a truly humbling experience. You really start to learn just how much energy you can lose from seemingly 'simple' movements. Use that energy for something better and don't fight in the first place :yeshrug:

Honestly after I started training I'm even more afraid to get into a fight. 1) because I know how to hurt someone and 2) you never know who you'll run into.

There's a guy in my class who's 5'8 maybe 140 pounds. I got dude by 60 pounds easy and every class this skinny nikka beats the brakes off everyone in Muay Thai. I would have never thought this skinny little nikka was a damn assassin :damn:

I know everybody bust they gun and no Cac can see em with the hands, but eventually dudes are gonna have to swallow their pride and understand we in the wild west now :whoo:

Why the fukk they stop recording...a$$holes should wait till the fighter regains consciousness and have a post fight interview and ask when will the rematch be

Nah, MMA dude knew exactly what he was doing. He didn't have any hands to worry about whatsoever with dude, he just stalked him down and cut him off till he backed himself into the vehicle. Easy takedown.
Strikers should NEVER let wrestlers close the distance, and if you do, you'd better have a clinch of point to throw strikes real quick to either go for the KO, or hurt dude enough to where you can create space. I don't care how good at boxing you are, if you go against someone who is even somewhat skilled at both wrestling AND boxing, you are in for some shyt. This is why Bruce Lee stressed people must become well rounded and not limit ones self to one style. If a boxer goes against someone cross trained in boxing AND grappling, the cross trained guy will always have the advantage because the dude who only knows boxing alone will not only have to deal with hands, but also takedowns, and he's in for a world of trouble if the guy knows how to easily transition and feint by setting up his takedowns with his boxing :whew:

Come in throwing blows, feint real quick then shoot a single/double as they prepare to defend/counter :whew:
Feint shooting a double to throw that overhand right :whew::krs:

....and that's only a couple options.

This is the very reason why I never go to the ground or do that wrestling shyt when in fights. Damn near every fistfight I've been in I'm throwin hands trying to K a nikka quick.

fukk all that other shyt :pachaha:

Have you ever someone who knew BJJ or trained in it?

If you read my posts before I started training I had the same dismissive attitudes a lot of y'all nikkas had. After my first class I was absolutely humbled at the thought that if I were to get in a fight with a white belt with 6 months of training I would lose.

yes i know a few cats who do BJJ at a reputable gym here with Jorge Britto as instructor and i have been with them and taken a few basics in there gym before....its interesting but unless your a blue belt and up it seems very amateurish to me....Alot of those dudes doing basics have limited striking/punching skills and rely solely on grappling and wrestling techniques which wont work against someone with heavy hands...

Thats my assessment of it,albeit based on only a few classes...The higher belted fighters are skilled but i still think a trained boxer would whoop alot of these dudes...

Grappling is 90% whos heavier.....If youre 150 youre not gonna pick someone up and take down a man whos 250...

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
You beat me to this shyt breh. I was thinking the exact same thing. What the hell were these nikkaz clappin for :what:

That must be some "last line of defense " bullshyt as an attempt to create a diversion or a cry for help :mjlol:

The clap in this instance was to signal the passenger in his car to start that bytch up just incase he needed to make a quick get away. :russ:
