This looks like a couple of dudes cracking fat jokes in the wrong medium. Barkley wasn't factually wrong, we do have some enormous women in Texas. But in this country if you say what you feel, joking or not, prepare to catch heat.

I hear you And you're right about women being extra sensitive on that matter.
But what are men generally sensitive about? I cant think of anything in particular but i'm sure there maybe something we (in general) would object to if women made fun of it.

For example white males see everything as a joke and we as black males get our panties in a knot over some of it citing their "white privilege" or whatever. With that said shouldnt we at least be conscious of things that may offend other groups or women or...

Humor is all about being irreverent and often times that involves being insensitive and offending people. Obviously there are limits that should not be crossed. There also needs to be a limit to offense as well. Did anyone write an article about Kenny making fun of Kevin Hart's height or Kevin Hart (and numerous comedians) making fun of Shaq's eye or the way that he and Charles speak? shyt they made fun of Chuck's weight last night (among other nights) too.

Men are sensitive about money and dikk size...that's about it. I see women in movies on tv and in music shytting on dudes with no paper or little dikks all the time.

While their discussion is obviously not on the same level — and indeed will be interpreted by many as all in good fun — it does show a general lack of sensitivity on an issue that could be easily avoided. And it comes from some of the most outspoken critics of Sterling during last month’s debacle.

If you are someone in a position of POWER (Sterling) or a public figure in any way and say something that offends a group of people you are bound to catch heat. Even if the person you offended isnt fat but their mom may be fat. Their daughter may be fat. Their Son may be fat.

Before you get your panties in a knot i am nt comparing Sterling's comments to Chucks. so please step away from the keyboard before you go down that road. I'm using Sterling since that was the other most recent outrage.

There are hundreds of thousands of fat Black woman that were angered by Sterling that don't give two fukks about Charles and Shaq cracking jokes..

Like I said, it's just a woman being a woman. How a woman is treated varies widely depending on how beautiful people think she is. And how she acts varies widely on how beautiful she herself thinks she is. It's a big thing for them .....

I'm willing to bet that a lot of black women (if they were watching) were made uncomfortable by Chuck making jokes about fat girls. They just wouldn't stupidly compare it to the Sterling issue because they have a unique understanding of it being black themselves.
