If anything it's the opposite. We should really second guess the way we rallied behind Obama and took pride in the symbolism of him being a "black president". That's the reason why i don't post on the LR section anymore, i can't believe these posters are black or proud to be black. I scrolled through #obamaandkids on Twitter yesterday and got a little teary eyed seeing the look in those kids faces.

I never knew what it felt like to look up to a president like that. It always seemed to be an unattainable position.

The trolls on here are just as bad as the ones on Twitter who put up negative tweets with the same hashtag. The pessimism you all exude when someone points out a little positivity is just a mirror of your own darkness.
