I'll let the baby fall asleep on me, while i snooze a little. If she walks in a disturbs that picture she'd have to be particularly cold hearted.
If you do something else besides nap, just let the baby participate and she's usually alright with it too.
but don't feel pressured to make every interaction some educational, teach the baby numbers and letters type stuff.

personally... dont nag someone else for shyt you can do yourself.
That's the mentality I have adopted in my marriage, and i tell my wife the same thing. It's a little jarring at first but it works better this way. A whole lot less nagging when you know the reply is gonna be "do it yourself"

The wife is actually right in this case. You need to interact with the child. Sitting on your ipad whilst the baby is awake doing nothing stimulating isn't healthy. And according to the twitter thread, the husband rarely interacts with his child.
This is why we have a nation of zombies where children as young as 3, have their faces buried in their tablets not being able to interact properly.
The problem is the wife came across as nagging. A smart woman would've approach softly "hey hun, I know you're busy but I think it would be great if all of us could do something together before lunch. Is that OK with you? "
A simple request rather than nagging would've been easier.
