this nikka thinks he is skilled labor because he moves boxes in an Amazon warehouse and wants to depress the wages on workers he feels are even less skilled. Instead of focusing on the billionaire raping everybody with no Vaseline.

:gucci:

Amazon work is way, way harder than flipping burgers. You work at Amazon and you will be putting in WORK:hubie:

Grown folks shouldn't be working at mcdonald's anyway. That's a teenager job

wealth inequality is insane, but working in a warehouse is not skilled labor. by definition, not saying it doesnt take some form of expertise to perform your work, every job does. but it's not "skilled labor" by the definition that is used colloquially.

it is however a more desirable job than working at mcdonalds because you don't have to deal with customers or working in a kitchen.

people who complain about the minimum wage going up and complain about the workers getting money is why capitalism might never be defeated in this country. their anger is pointed at the wrong person. be mad at ronald mcdonald 's and jeff bezo's for underpaying people in the first place, not mad at the burger flipper.

Packing boxes is not skilled labor.

Its some shyt you can do with your headphones on while you are hungover from last night.
:mjlol:

But capitalism thrives off of his mentality.
Corporations dont have to explain why they pay you so little as long as you have someone else to look down on.

Edit - Amazon also raised their wages after Bernie Sanders had his foot on their neck and public pressure was building.
This guy probably got a raise recently and was making $12/hr before that.

$150k a minute? :what:

There are 1440 minutes in a day. He could double the salary of every worker not in C-suite at Amazon and not lose a bit of sleep. Or money. It probably cheaper to do that than divorce his wife. :what:

$150K a minute is so fukking obscene and ridiculous...:wow: every week his paycheck is just like ...:banderas: why work ever again???

And this is just scratching the surface. This wealth increase is directly tied to the stock market. Even putting the wealthiest aside, the higher wage earners had more money to put in the stock market than lower wage earners and lower wage earners were far more likely to be working jobs that have been halted by the pandemic (restaurants, hotels, service etc). The wealth gap almost certainly saw an explosion over the past year and I feel like nobody is talking about it.
