They wanted him back after renouncing his rights to sign Horford...he didnt want to be back.
He said in his presser he chose the Raptors over trying to work out a deal to go back...What is true is up for speculation,i tend to believe that maybe true given he only took a MLE here...

I guess what truly surprised me more than anything is that the Celtics took him to the meeting

I havent watched much Celtics ball over the last season but is he a big cog in what they do on the court??

Celtics didnt want that nikka. Word is ainge was fed up with his weight and conditioning. He gave him an ultimatum a year ago and this guy shows up fat in the playoffs
