The people who took it upon themselves to register the hash tag as some kind of legal organization and start collecting money. And paying themselves a salary.
These people are crooks from the gate. They only ever intended to enrich themselves.
The philosophical concept of Black Lives Matter is still as strong as ever. Its true. And I'm a Black motherfukcer who has to live in this sick ass world.

This. The slogan gets right to the meat of it, but we dont all have to fukk with the org. In fact, most people dont.

Money=power and influence
Power and influence cause people like judges and DAs to prosecute police who clearly violate their training.
More police will think twice about shooting black people.

it brings attention to what they were marching for, what do you think MLK did when he had marches and sit-ins, to bring attention to jim crow and segregation. The difference is he went to washington to demand what he wanted.

We can talk all day long about starting our own movement, but who's gonna fund it? Who's gonna be the leader? Are we going to have infiltrators and agents among it? And are we gonna be on and stay on code?
Realistically, if black people joined all over the world and started our own movement it won't be too long til these cacs will find a way to dismantle it. Label it a "terrorist group" or call it "black supremacy".
