Tell me I'm lying....:francis:

This dropped nearly a decade ago.

From the beat, to the chorus that ripped off the original song used, to the video... Everything about it was corny. Before B.O. B's debut dropped, I was hyped and thought he would delivery a great album but instead it was wack and filled with a gang of corny ass pop songs. B.O.B is the definition of an artist that sold out his talent and creative for fame and popularity.:snoop:

What y'all think?

Yeah B.O.B. took the "insert rapper here" song route. Pre-made hits that just needed someone who could string together a couple of verses and not look like beanie sigel to be successful.

He completely boxed himself into that category too. He was pretty much done after his 2nd album dropped... Then he try to cross back over from pop back into rap and go back to his roots but it was too late.

100% on point dap + rep.

He's crazyyyyy talented too but took the easy route and got typecast. As long as he made good bread and is able to create music he likes effortlessly now, it can still be seen as a huge win. I just wonder how he feels about it all.

I remember seeing Flo-rida at the BET awards looking helllla sad like he wished he was up on stage with 2 Chainz, Wayne and everyone. His vibe gave off that he had millions, but was dead inside and living in a personal hell, since he wasn't able to pop off in actual rap/hiphop instead of pop :wow:

Sad that Bobby Ray sold out as soon as he got that deal and joined the transAtlantic slave trade because his mixtape shyt that he was putting out before the major label album was dope...I can only rock "past my shades" from that lp cause Lupe absolutely murders it.
