sorry, not nearly as impressive as the Tyson weaves and him getting as low as he did and doing it with such swiftness
Old school Mike was just a machine.
That being said
Anderson Silva in his prime would beat Mike Tyson in his prime

GOAT heavyweight? This is a key indicator that someone has never truly watched boxing.
Mike Tyson is an absolute beast. He was a machine and a fantastic boxer BUT he was also the fukking Goldberg of boxing.
After Berbick, Tyson was given inferior opponents to fight, and one of those inferior opponents put him on his ass. Sadly, Tyson was sent to prison and we missed a lot of great years from Mike but we can't speculate what he would have done.
When Tyson faced a truly worthy opponent in Holyfield, Holyfield was considered flabby and sick status. He was 34 years old. They were expecting Tyson to just run through him, but we know what happened in both fights.
So, to me, Tyson is not even the GOAT heavyweight of his generation and you're willing to put him over Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Jack Johnson, and Joe Louis?

What an intelligent response. I like how your counter argument was devoid of any facts.
Another person who has probably watched 2 fights and youtube clips and thinks he knows the entire history.
Nobody was going to beat Mike Tyson in his absolute prime....NOBODY
Old school Mike was just a machine.

Why do I need facts when you didnt use any ? Why should I waste my time and energy trying to educate somebody who is either a troll or a simple minded buffoon ? Ive watched more boxing this week then you have probably ever seen in your life and probably have forgotten more about the sweet science than your ever gonna know !
Tyson was defending his WBA heavyweight title against Holyfield, who was in the fourth fight of his comeback to boxing after retiring in 1994 following the loss of his undisputed championship to 26-year old Michael Moorer, by a 12-round majority decision. It was said that boxing promoter Don King and others saw Holyfield, the former champion, who was 34 at the time of the fight and a huge underdog, as a washed up fighter. Holyfield had struggled in his previous fight against a blown up middleweight, Bobby Czyz, and in his preceding fight had been knocked out in the eighth round by Riddikk Bowe. Though noting Holyfield's courage, other experts thought Tyson had the advantage in power against Holyfield.
I didn't use any facts?
Let's see here:
You claimed he was the GOAT when he only faced three worthy opponents his entire career. The first one he won. Then he lost twice to Holyfield and once to Lewis. You somehow think this is on par with Ali, who beat Frazier, Foreman and Liston in their primes. That right there shows me you don't know shyt about boxing. Then, it is common knowledge that Tyson's fight with Holyfield was set up by Don King because they thought Holyfield's career was done at 34.

Now, I don't blame it all on Mike. The Heavyweight division was mediocre at best during the late 80s/early 90s. I also said above, that we don't know what would have happened if he didn't go to Prison. You guys can't assume shyt.
The truth is he got his ass handed to him by Douglas and Holyfield, and both were considered major upsets.
