LEBRON PROTECTS HIS PERCENTAGES THIS WAY.. HE HOLDS THE BALL WAITING FOR A SURE SHOT. IF HE DOESNT FIND AN EASY BASKET, HE PASSES IT TO A TEAMMATE AND FORCES THEM INTO BAD SHOTS. PRETTY MUCH THE OPPOSITE OF KOBE, WHO WOULD GET HIS TEAMMATES THE BALL AT THEIR SWEET SPOTS WHILE TAKING ON THE DIFFICULT SHOTS HIMSELF WHEN THERES NOTHING THERE.

THIS IS WHY LEBRON HAS THE APPEARANCE OF BEIN “EFFICIENT” WHILE LACKING THE ABILITY TO TAKE OVER OR PUT THE BALL IN THE BASKET WHEN IT CALLS FOR IT ONCE DEFENSES KEY IN.

That 2018 Cavaliers Roster was not a good roster by any stretch of the imagination.

He may not make his teammates better like the claim is in this thread, but there isn't ONE player in the League that Season that would have carried that same Roster to the Finals.

One of the biggest myths is basketball. Before he won a ring that was the main talking about "He makes his teammates better and Kobe doesn't"

Anyone who actually pays attention can now see that is far from the truth. Both players have examples of role players being elevated playing with them, but when it comes to stars it's definitely in Kobe's favor. Time after time again we see stars have to deal with widespread media criticism/hate from fans because they can't fit with bron on the court.

Shaq and Pau never had that issue, and though there might've been some issues with Dwight, Kobe didnt handpick that nikka and told him before he even joined the Lakers what time it was. Bron handpicked all the stars and acts like they friend only for them all to get thrown under the bus later

Stars played fine with Bron and Kobe when they were healthy and the #1 or #2 option. Kyrie, Wade, and AD all had great seasons with Bron when they weren't dealing with injuries, just like Shaq and Pau with Kobe. Stars were diminished with both Bron and Kobe when they were the #3 option. It was the same either way.

Absolutely bizzare to name Shaq and Pau, but not Glen Rice, Ron Artest, Karl Malone, Gary Payton, Steve Nash, or Pau Gasol after Dwight arrived (not to mention Dwight himself).

Meh

Small sample size but the “Weak East” always been kinda shaky cuz it don’t make sense. Whether it was Brons teams or other top teams.

There was never this big gap like Lebron (or other top teams) had like 70+ wins and they other teams (2 seed and lower) had 40 or less win records.

Also, that narrative in deeper investigation ends up doing the opposite of its intentions cuz then it’s gonna reveal that Eastern teams winning championships (Brons teams, Celtics, Piston, Wade/Shaq Miami) are >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than the West championships

Since they faced harder opponents in the west

LMAO. People really thought a team led by Oladipo was legit? A team led by Jeff Teague legit? A team that featured Roy Hibbert legit? GTFOH
