It was still being built when I was there. Dubai is overrated in my opinion, it was cool to say I’ve been though.

shyt was a movie when I went, Felt like a futuristic Miami/Vegas mix.. I wouldnt go back just for this tho, but its a great time with a group, something to do for everyone.. Also I would recommend go around this time, weather is soo much more bearable..

Have you been to Abu Dhabi?

After my first time in Dubai, I was so unimpressed and said I’d never need to go back. Then went back the next year

The return was an extended layover on the way to Asia. I spent that time in Abu Dhabi and liked that much more. Felt more like a real city. Dubai tries to be Miami/Vegas, but it’s still a Muslim nation with strict rules. So fell short of that for me. There is a ton of stuff to do in Dubai tho

yea, on same trip we had it on itinerary. Wish we spent more time there but that was after the fact, when I go back I want to spend more time there for sure

No gaming. We did an all day desert tour where we drove ATV’s, rode camels, smoked hookah, the chicks got henna, and they capped it off with a bbq and entertainers at the end. We had a three course meal in the sky, we did a “yacht tour” where we rode around to the different islands, we went to the top of the Burj Khalifa, we also did a jet ski tour as well. We went to the beach and went to the regular restaurants that you have in the US like STK and the Cheesecake Factory. I didn’t really see any fine women that weren’t obvious prostitutes. Could’ve gone to Vegas for much cheaper and I would’ve had some weed to smoke.
