Daves wasn't funny at all to me. Everything he said was literally shyt me and my boys have sat around and talked about. Even the above ground pool thing "it's a pool...." to the shootings the opioid 'crisis'. The whole anecdote about him buying a gun was stupid.

Myself and 2 of my friends 1 of which I saw Bill burr with didn't even make it through the special. I made it 15 minutes maybe.

shyt garbage. I know the climate for comedy has changed and they are on top and have to address it but they got to the top just telling jokes and stories being funny no matter what others were doing or what was going on in the world. They need to get back to that.

I really like Dave's last 2 Netflix ones. But killing them softly is the greatest and or for what it's worth is better than his newest.

This burr special was trash, dude spent 30 minutes harping on women. The easiest subject in the world. Told a boring ass sexual assault story that didn't have any point and barely had any jokes.

They were jokes. Often they were jokes used to convey, criticize or emphasis a point or status. Now there are less jokes and more speeches and preaching, imo.

I'm pretty sure you can cut Dave's New special to about 30 mins of pure jokes, if that. You might be able to get bills trash ass new special to 20.

All you gotta do is simply compare their new special to their older ones. How quick were the jokes fired off? How much time between the setup and the punchline.

There's easily 5 minute gaps where they aren't talking jokes, just talking and rambling during these most recent specials.
