Lol nah, you're right. Im not tryna justify it but im just saying i can understand it, its a common thing. Especially if hes a fan or came out right around the period Drake came out. Just like alot of people sounded like Dre & Snoop in the early 90's as they dropped their solos, or switched up to the raw shyt as Ruff Ryders came out, or sounded like Nas as Illmatic dropped, or Wu etc etc etc, you're familiar with it. So its common.
For some its strictly a label move, cuz at the end of the day artist are a product in terms of investment by the majors. So alot is about demographics, timing, market etc. Then the rest is strictly on some fan shyt, "trendy shyt" and just jocking what they hear &/or feel is making noise out there currently.
