The more I listen, the more brilliant this album becomes . Never even come close to listening to one of her sister's albums all the way through. But I haven't had this Solange album outta rotation and run it from the first track to the last... every time .

her musicianship is also something to be noted..those note placements and her layering abilities..a lot of crazy chord structures going on..both her and her sister has an incredible ear for harmony..and creating thrilling musical moments (on a vocal front)

FUBU is song of the year to me. I didn't think anything could dethrone some of paak's songs from earlier this year.

But the intro, the message,the melody, the build up, the horns, and how unapologetic it is during this fukked up year. fukk a Grammy. This needs some sort of Sam Cooke/Billie Holliday award.
