a biracial should be classified under whatever their offspring is in my opinion. the term biracial isn't an ethnicity but a relationship between ethnicities. biracials don't procreate with biracials in high enough number nor do they have any economic or political power to be their own group. biracial also doesn't specify which 2 ethnicities are being blended. they are fleeting and within one generation that biracial person has birthed someone who falls within the range of phenotypes of someone full blooded.

I can't co-sign that 75% rule. I know too many people that have a bi-racial parent and identify as mixed. A grandparent can have a huge impact on a person's life. What if that grandparent raised the child or was heavily involved in that person's life?

I also know people that are 1/4 Indian, 1/4 black etc and they look more like that 25%.
