It's both good and bad. People may not realize it but America is the greatest country in the world and being born here is a HUGE advantage in life. There are so many luxuries we take for granted. Even the smallest town in West Bumblefukk, Mississippi has running water and consistent electricity. On the other hand, America has a perception problem internationally. Do you know how many times I've been on a plane and people have asked me about Donald Trump? Or gun control? Or any other ridiculously American thing that I don't really identify with?

If you're black and don't identify with America AT ALL, then you're misguided and need to travel more.

I just came from Nigeria, went to London, Amsterdam, and am now back in Spain. Look, I'm a nikka from the south and I've never been on that patriotic shyt but traveling has made me realize I'm American through and through. It's hard to explain. There are a lot of reasons... It's just something you realize when you travel a lot. I might make a thread about this.
