I've been tryna tell nikkas how disrespectful it is to compare rubio and rondo to this nikka. Those guys can actually run a offense lonzo just advances the ball and gets out the way.

He just having trouble being aggressive but he'll get comfortable as the season goes on.

I like Zo. But he gonna be developing on the bench in a minute. 0 points is unacceptable especially in a loss. Can't be a liability on offense and expect to lead a team. And his general floor leadership is lacking too. No emotion. No offense. No points. Not a good look. The goodwill he earned from the summer will wear out soon if he don't step up.

It's still early and Lonzo might turn it around, but I just don't see what the hype was all about. And for all the Jason Kidd comparison the NBA has change compared to when Kidd came in to the league.
The first game it seemed like there was a concerted effort to get Brandon Ingram going. After Magic's 20ppg comment I thought maybe he made the call to force the ball into Ingram and try to get him to develop his iso game or some shyt. But now idk, Lonzo just doesn't seem like he wants to step on anyones toes or be "the man"

The problem is his childhood development. He's stuck on the Chino hills offense where he brings the ball up and tries to get rid of it as fast as possible to his brothers. He did the same shyt in college people just overlooked how good that white boy TJ leaf was at finishing in the up tempo offense and how many 3s Bryce Alford was hitting that year. It was all Lonzo took a losing team and made them win 30+ the next year. Lonzo's entire basketball up bringing was to take advantage of teams who aren't ready for the up tempo offense and advancing the ball. He can't even run a simple pick and roll.
