And let me not get into the articles and discussions they have about black men. The shyt goes all the way back to slavery where there were studies proving African brains were smaller than European brains which was used as proof we NEEDED to be enslaved. Or Africans who wanted to escape slavery were diagnosed with a medical condition called drapetomania and the only cure was to beat it out of us with a whip. Or articles stating that cocaine gave black men superpowers and made us want to go and rape white women. Or even articles that tried to prove black men had a gene that made us genetically predisposed to violence. Or my personal favorite was how black men who wanted to join the Civil Rights movement and fight for equality were routinely diagnosed with having schizophrenia. And we all know about the study claiming there were more black men in prison than in college which has been proven false a million times.
