Last year after the Clips & Calicoe battles we was talking about how Surf was cooked washed rinsed & dried. He should call it a day and focus on making good music cause he finished with battle rap.

In the span of one year with the Hitman and Roc battles, Surf fortune done made a complete 360 degree. Fanbase at an all time high. Surf probably getting the most mainstream shine since SM2 Lux.
This nikka Surf got a mention in every major hiphop website last week off of Drake.


Even Hot 97 mentioned Surf. Maybe Rosenberg can have him on Real Late.

My apologies if it was a shytty thread breh. Just thought it was worth pointing out...you don't see too many nikkas come back after a period of decline, especially if they battle rarely. Think of XFactor or Tech9. One rapper I can think of who camback from the bottom is Born. Also my point was Surf make dope music. He should do everything to capitalize on this mainstream attention & finally break the barrier.

Don't listen to these nyggas, this is a quality thread. We should want our favorite battle rappers to grow and do bigger things. Some people just hate Surf for whatever reason.
Only thing I would keep in mind is that a 360 degree rotation will bring you back to you starting point. A 180 is a "turnaround".

I was just watching the Clips battle and yeah Surf was in a tough spot. but he bounced back. His last performances against Hitman and Tay Roc really impressed me
