cole spent a lotta time in Germany too, but his formative years was in Fayetteville

What does stunna sound like?

Bro from my city, do he sound northern?

Fayetteville has a lot of military and retirees because of Fort Bragg. People from all over the country probably have settled there. He wouldn't necessarily have a southern accent if he grew up there.

The Carolinas in August might have been the hottest heat I ever felt in my life.

Things become outdated every day B. It’s facts when people in Maryland themselves don’t refer to themselves as southern. We’ll the new generation anyway.

If that's the case then ppl would have renamed the states. The M/D line is etched in stone..

Maryland is the South, but upper South. Richmond, VA will always be the capital of the Confederacy. Lastly, Florida is still in the South no matter how many immigrants live there as well as it's proximity to the Caribbean..

Ppl can try to ignore, erase, rebrand, redefine & recontextualize all they want. What is..IS and will BE long after you, myself and anyone else leave the 🌏!

Gotta keep it a band w/ ya Breh!

Man 90% of muhfukkas who grow up in Fayetteville have a southern accent 🤣. I'm in Fayetteville every week, my youngest daughter lives there. There are people from everywhere there, but it's just like when people move to big cities like NY or LA, they acclimate to the local culture...

I don’t know how people don't hear Cole's accent unless they just not used to hearing southern accents. He has NY influence in his accent for sure, because he spent years living there. But if yall actually listen to him talk you can hear it, he doesn't have a deep drawl, but he definitely has a southern accent...

The Confederacy doesn't exist anymore and hasn't in 158 years, so no, Richmond will not always be "capital of The Confederacy". The CSA didn't start in Richmond nor did Rich volunteer for the role as capital...

I don't know what history books you read, but Richmond was the capital of the Confederacy.

You can't rewrite history! Maryland & Virginia are BOTH in the South!! Florida is in the South! It is what it is! Smh..

Just looked it up and there were 3 capitals of the Confederacy. It started in Montgomery AL, then moved to Richmond VA. The last capital was in Danville, VA. The capital was moved for strategic reasons. So, I was partially right, but not wrong. Point is..

Virginia is a Southern State. It is also a Commonwealth. I consider that state to be a Colonial Southern State because it was one of the first 13 states. So, Virginia had 2 cities as Confederate capitals. Alabama had 1 and the rest of the Southern states had none. The South is the South!

I didn't say Virginia wasn't southern, I said that the Confederacy hasn't existed since April 1865, so Richmond can't "always" be the capital of something that hasn't existed since before your great-grandparents were born...

Richmond also didn't volunteer for the capital, it was drafted, since you're in the mood to research stuff you should look up how residents of the city at the time, were split on Union/Confederate loyalties...

Also the Confederacy literally lasted 4 years. Its ancient history thats a blip on the radar in American history, you're identifying a city based on a 4-year period of time that has been dead for 158 years...

Both Maryland and Virginia are the South but this Confederate talking point is irrelevant...

I lived in Fayetteville for 3 years and didn't hear Southern accents everywhere I went. At least not deep accents. I have family in the country part of North Carolina (Pitt County) and they didn't sound like them.

I stayed on base a lot tho.

So basically the south ends at the southern most original colonies, and then that's where the "deep south" starts? Dumb as hell imo. After westward expansion, all that shyt is east coast now
