This old Consequence song really shows how much Kanye copy and pasted his flow.

Yo this is crazy :ohhh: Kanye even stole all the voice inflections. This is exactly how Kanye was rapping on his first 2 albums and then him and Cons fell out and Ye hasn’t come close to rapping like this since. Cons and Rhymefest did the work. I know this has been common knowledge, but to see it so evident on video is WILD. This track fits right into Kanye‘s original 3 track theme, CD, LR, Good Ass Job.

Yup
Ye has taken so much of his style from Consequence that this actually sounds like a Kanye song :russ:

Heard he got his braces fitted through Amtrak. Only ones who can lay down the steel for those chompers.

Might need to scoop up Consequence's mixtapes for vintage Kanye sounds. Wiki says he kinda stopped recently? Anyone in the know can link some more music? :jbhmm:

I don't think this is an example of Kanye copying Cons flow, it's more of an example of Cons not being able to write for someone else and not use his own flow while doing it.

The same goes for Rhymefest and Big Sean. They didn't write for Kanye. They wrote what they'd say and gave it to him.

That's why it was always so obvious who was writing for Kanye and when.

The best ghostwriters are the ones who don't use their own flow and cadence when writing for others.

Despite this people acted like Kanye was a dope rapper for like 10 years

Sprinkle in Rhyme fest on college dropout. Malik Yusef throughout his career.
