You could make two seperate tier lists of Marvel characters - one for overall greatness, impact, popularity etc., and a seperate list for how powerful/fearsome they are in the Marvel canon. Black Panther would maybe crack the top 40-50 in the former list and not even the top 100 in the latter.
Meanwhile Batman is routinely ranked as the first or second best superhero of all time in any credible list, Marvel, DC and everything else combined. He's defeated Darkseid but he's gonna lose to a poor man's version of himself.

.....superman is one of the worst written and overpowered comic book characters ever but he'll still always be top 5 just off him being one of the oldest characters and most iconic.....BP is a top 15 marvel character (even with all the fukking mutants that take up most of the list) and a top 50 comic book character even tho he came about in the late 60s and most of the list was 30yrs prior to him. and i'd say with BP "king of the dead" upgrade it puts him above bruce pretty easily
