Romo shoulda been out after that debacle inPhilly years ago. I used to really be a fan of this dude and vouch for himhimt hes easily the worst of the 'elite' qbs. This team would do fine with a Alex Smith type qb. We just need a nikka to get the ball to Dez to let him work, feed Witten every now and then. This dude Romo has never NOT thrown a god damn game away. I really dont see what he did to deserve that contract. Your team is not good enough to succeed with a QB like Alex Smith. Yall should have beaten the Chiefs on Sunday. Too busy turning the ball over and dumb play calling (yall did kinda get screwed on that penalty call too). Still. Chiefs have a very good defense and Arrowhead is a tough place to play. I predicted ya'll losing there but you did better than I thought.

In general I think romo gets underrated because people vastly overrate the talent on The cowboys. If you listen to people the last few years you would believe the cowboys are 98' Broncos status and he's strictly the problem holding them back.

The only time I thought they were loaded was 07'.

Obviously Jerry isn't gonna get rid of Romo unless he dramatically sucks this season but Garrett should go and be replaced with a disciplinarian who isn't afraid to get in Romo's face and let him know what's up. And he barely got the pass off at that. What you say would make sense but the blitz clearly came on Dez side which is why he was left one on one. Romo could've lobbed it or threw a slant and Dez would've scored.

Romo will get criticized for the simple fact that his contract effects how management deals with the rest of the roster.
