You know what. My grandmother was a maid for rich white folk and she used to do the exact same thing. She used to bring her own bucket of supplies and clean the whole room and bathroom herself and I put her in the Waldorf for her 80th birthday (off season is not that expensive low key) and she still did it.

Actually this was common among my parents generation. Not to that extent but toilet and bathroom was bleached and mattress was inspected and got replaced.

Couple things
1. We just got out of a pandemic, she ain’t wrong

2. I stayed in hotels 3-4 times a week for damn near 15 years. You should be cleaning your tub and bathroom floor and checking for bed bugs. Disposable sheets is a good idea too because you’re crazy if you think those rooms are getting A-1 attention everytime. Especially hotels with heavy traffic.
