I agree with him in tha sense that i think there are more productive holistic ways that reparaations could be alloted to us other than a flat check. It's not about respectability politics or how we look to whites, that's a copout, point is tha nikkas that would stand to benefit from reparations tha most would be tha most likely to treat a flat check like tax return season, spend tha money on either frivolous shyt, or recurring expenses that never go away like bills and food and be back at square one. Surely we can get more creative than a one time check. A solution that would actually stand to benefit us across generations and give us our best chance to play with a full deck of cards in this society.
