This post perfectly demonstrates why Democratics don’t respect us & don’t feel any pressure from us

:russell:you sound hurt you fathered a child with a woman that reminds you of the very people you harbor disdain for

whole time you got played, but hey black fathers gotta support one another:salute:

grassroots activism works best imo.

What are you even talking about. Me and my bm are good. She's graduating with a bachelor's degree in psychology in July. I'm proud of her.

And that's a huge problem, because the only way to match that level of donations is to sell yourself out to corporate interests. Or did you think that people like Obama and Romney were going around the world giving quarter million dollar 30 min speeches and getting 10 million dollar tv deals just because they're so cool?
I don't think that, in fact i realized long ago that a president is more likely to win re-election than any upstart due these factors and plus his immense media presence. The first third party candidate to win an election will probably have to do so following a former presidents second term, but during a re-election campaign seems impossible.

We can agree to disagree, but I believe all registered parties should get equal airtime. With the internet it would be easier than ever. There could even be a channel devoted solely to campaign issues and debates all throughout campaign season.

We gotta get money out of politics. If we don't we're gonna continue this March towards globalism lead by our corporate overlords

I get your point but when does the vote dem just cuz logic end?
When their policies aren't as good as other people's.

You might be against $15/hr wages and unions to protect workers but those are examples of Democratic policies that are unrivaled compared to the Republican platform. There are actual policies behind Democratic support that people identify with believe it or not

I agree with the bold. So does the democratic party and the bill the released after retaking the house:

The issue is being spearheaded by Maryland Rep. John Sarbanes, a longtime advocate of campaign finance reform who has disavowed corporate PAC money for years. Sarbanes and other House Democrats have been working with progressive heavy hitters in the Senate including Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, whose own wide-ranging anti-corruption Senate bill was recently introduced in the House by Sarbanes and progressive Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal. He is also working with Sen. Tom Udall (D-NM) to introduce a companion HR 1 bill in the Senate, which will likely not even be brought to the floor.

Sarbanes and Democrats know McConnell is refusing to work with them on their anti-corruption bill, and they believe it’s good politics for them.

This whole Democrats and Republicans are both the same thing is not accurate

House Democrats officially unveil their first bill in the majority: a sweeping anti-corruption proposal

I saw that post too and thought the same shyt as you. I don't think people who fear monger us into voting for dems out of fear of Trump winning again are modeling the election process properly. The election process should be modeled as a REPEATED game not just a one off. What that means is that you can' t base your voting strategy solely on the next election, you have to look at how who we vote for now effects future elections.

Look at whats going on now that Trump is in office. There's unprecedented levels of political talk taking place in the black community. A lot of us are getting on code and actually stepping to politicians with demands now instead of the usual shyt. If a dem won most of us black folks would be sleep as usual not really giving a fukk about whats going on politically. Also now that the dems see that we won't vote for them out of fear, they know they have to step to us with tangibles to get our vote. If we just voted for them as usual they would take our vote for granted and we'd get more of the usual - nothing.

This next election cycle is going to be epic as fukk and it's all because we took a stand and decided not to let them fear monger us.
