How old are y'all? I'm 32 and had an exam as a precaution too. shyt left me feeling violated. But better safe than sorry.

I'll be 40 next month.

My dad died of cancer related to prostate. On my last two physicals I had a prostate exam as a precaution. All black men should start their prostate screening early (mid 30's) even though they don't recommend until mid 40's - 50.

My first exam was a surprise. Doc was doing the hernia exam, and was like, "since you already have your pants down, bend over and put your elbows on that table over there". He put on a fresh pair of gloves, gooped some KY on his fingers, then "swoooop". I was like

then he said, "youere all good... took off his gloves, dropped them in the bio hazard bin, and left me there with KY leaking out my a$$. The worst feeling ever, but you have to do it.
