She had 3 mixtapes that predated FKA Twigs. She has subsequently tried to follow trends, but 2012-2013 and then some of her stuff since then IMO was exploring a different angle of that OVO sound (which they themselves partially lifted from Aaliyah and Timbaland...) in ways not many people were doing. Only, a little later, FKA Twigs, and at the time, Rochelle Jordan ended up going that route.
