i saw this yesterday. Knew from the headline it was bogus.

Sad thing is, people who havent heard the album yet will see that and be swayed

My dude it should go without saying that we shouldn't be looking @ rolling stone for rap reviews. They wouldn't even give hip hop a cover until after the early mid 2000's and I think it was Clef. They ignored rap for over 20 years. They are FORCED to report on it now.

As a culture it needs to be habit to curb out vultures and give them no room to affect or move anything I'm this shyt. their words should be meaningless and weightless to us.
Wasn't Snoop and Dre on the cover in the 90s?

Criticizing the music as misogynistic, is like criticizing a character in a film for being misogynistic. That doesn't really mean anything to me, maybe the character is supposed to be misogynistic. like Al Bundy in married with children. Doesn't mean the show isn't entertaining. I want to know what the message is and how effectively the message was conveyed, not your opinion on whether or not you agree with the message. That's irrelevant to the quality of the work.

If it's a message you can't get behind, i can respect that too, but it's better to just recuse yourself from the review at that point rather than try to give a biased review.
If you asked me to review a bunch of cac country records about patriotism i'm probably giving all them shyts one star. But that's not doing justice to its intended audience.
