My wife was sick for over a month. Had a flu or something, then covid. I caught covid and had a cough for a month. Organs felt funky. It's definitely a year where more people are getting sick, and the effects are lasting way longer.
got covid for what I think was the second confirmed time in November. Went to a dj set in a hotel lobby, was wearing a mask for most of the night. took it off to drink as far away as I could from the crowd
Got 3 doses of moderna in 2021, I’m all for vaccinations, however…the idea of getting several shots for this shyt, annually, for the rest of our lives?? fukking madness
I live alone and rarely have visitors, but I can’t do without live music events…each of my infections have taken place at a music event.
I fukking hate Trump and all of the decision makers and public health people who didn’t take this threat seriously from jump. now we all suffering for the sake of the economy and “normalcy” lmao

I had been masking in the store the last few weeks because I went to see my grandma on christmas and I didn't want to risk giving her covid even though I know other mfs in my family don't take the same caution.

Have to count my blessings. I rarely ever get sick but when I do it’s terrible. I had the flu a couple months ago and I felt like I was dying. Mucinex, Zycam, and soup cleared it up in a week or two.

Ended up going to urgent care yesterday since my doc call was useless (prescription he had for me isn’t even made anymore.) There were people open mouth coughing without masks on either (white and Mexican women). No fukkin respect for health services. 
Got my meds today, but doc told me to hold off a few days on the z-pack, just in case I’m getting better. My coughing isn’t bad, but it flares up badly when I’m trying to go to sleep. My nasal congestion feels like it’s subsiding, but it’s still there (I just started flonase a few days ago). I’m sipping this cough syrup later on tho.
