I agree but the one thing you're forgetting is the Democrats may be the reason Trump won the Republican nominee. They created this monster thinking it'd be a layup to beat. The Republicans did not want Trump as the candidate.
Agreed, and that's what I was alluding too. The collusion between the media and democratic party is evident.
They thought this was going to be a joke.
The media gave him so much free publicity because they thought that he was joke.
But all of that free publicity legitimized him as a candidate.
He played the media like a fiddle
