I read some of that stuff right after the season ended which is why i don't want him as a Jet.

All this Bridgewater talk just makes me more upset we took Geno last year. I wanted to throw away last year, get the #1 pick to take Teddy, we do just enough to scrape together 8 wins, now Teddy could EASILY be there at 18 and we'll pass on him because of Geno and Vick.

God don't love me :to:

You would love him as a Jet. That offense could use a playmaker like him.

I heard the same qualities said about him that they said about Dustin Keller. No offense, but as much as I love the Tar Heels in basketball I'm equally as disenchanted with UNC's football players. It's like they produce only two types of players

Gritty players that could make it, but have debilitating injury histories

or

ridiculously talented prospects with effort issues

The second one being key because when it comes to that kind of player, Rex can't help himself. He loves guys that look the part so much that he whiffs on guys that actually portray it. I'm still waiting on Quinton Coples to outplay Calvin fukking Pace let alone be "the most talented player on the Jets D-Line" as everyone swears.

Which qb would you pick

Going by that chart manziel. Most balanced out of all of them. Leads in 3rd down percentage(which is huge) and rarely throws into coverage. He also is in the upper echelon of red zone completions. Chart also shows that he is easily the best qb in the draft throwing past 15 yards but is in the upper part of shorter throws and he is in the upper echelon of handling pressure. When you factor in that he easily had the hardest schedule it's not even close. The only one close in schedule is Aaron Murray and look at his production in the sec compared to manziel. My eye test also tells me that manziel is the best overall qb in this draft, he is just a flat out stud. Barring injury he should be a star and the most productive in this draft.

Mayock is in his 50's. He is still stuck in what a prototypical white QB should look and act like. He wants a Dan Marino 6 ft 5, 225 lb pocket passer with beautiful alabaster skin :camby:

The game is evolving. The black/running qb is the wave of the future. The Qb is still the number one glamor position in all of sports. Once that slips away to the "negroes" what will they have left?

last year Geno and this year Teddy....how were they definite number one picks and their stock drops so low after the season?

I wish they'd get this f*ckin' draft all over with. I'm f*ckin' sick of it. ESPN is literally ODing off this bullsh*t. Cats changing their status every other day. He's top 5 one minute then he's late first round the next, then he's dropped to the second round.. Then somebody spotted him throwing a Frisbee pretty accurately in a park so after five hours of debate over that one f*ckin' toss now's he's top 5 all over again. Kiper bringing his usual sh*t. NFL Live all f*ckin' day, Jaws and Gruden camps :mindblown:

Somebody come get these dudes man, they doin' too cotdamn much with sh*t. draft these overrated niccas and lets keep it movin':camby:

"This year, I can't get over how good and talented JaMarcus Russell is. It just blew me away. If I had the first, second, third, fourth, fifth pick in that draft, I would be tearing apart his personal life trying to figure out whether or not I could trust this kid with $10-million ... From a physical skill set perspective, I've never seen a college quarterback with more ability than Russell. You put the tape on and it's frightening. The only thing that's going to keep [Russell] from being great is him. What it comes down to is you've got to figure out whether or not this kid wants to be the best quarterback in football. If he wants to be the best quarterback in football, he can be."

Mayock has Gabbert rated ahead of Newton as the 2011 draft's top QB prospect.

Gabbert worked out for a horde of talent evaluators and six NFL head coaches after opting not to throw at the scouting combine last month. He completed 44 of 49 throws Thursday.

According to Mayock, he can "drive the ball with accuracy, he drives it with timing, his arm strength is more than enough."

As for his developing footwork?

"Cleaner than I expected," said Mayock, who compared the pro day performance of Gabbert favorably with former first-rounders Matt Ryan and Sam Bradford.

Was just about to go in with the famous Mayock quotes

You forgot the one where he calls Jimmy Clausen a "top ten talent" :laff:

The whole "SEC defenses" myth got exposed in grand fashion this year....the media won't admit to it, cause the SEC is still big money, but we all saw it..
Thank God someone else said it.....I was about to go in on this "he played vs SEC defenses" bs

I personally hope he falls to into a good situation like Russ or Big Ben where he can ride a defense and running game to early success. So we can hear all the stories about how many teams passed over him "what were they thinking? :mindblown:".

The TV analysts are basically ripping Bridgewater because they know GMs & owners don't see him as the face/leader of a franchise. :mjpls:

The scouts are just trying to keep their jobs because if they come with clean info that contradicts the feelings of their owner, they're likely to get replaced.
