Vans had vans popping and shyt but i know nikkas who legit went out and bought a skateboard after kick push. I remember my white friends being pissed at kick push, ":bryan:all he does is an ollie in the video" . :dead:

That pack album was getting played at every high school party though. :wow:

So Cal
Which one is that? The one w/ the dreads?? I only know Lil B & I wouldn't have known he was the breakout act had @Cole Cash not told me.
Yeah, buddy ain't even try to rhyme with his verse.

Lil b the breakout but young l done produced for a few nikkas. Dude a dope ass producer,he can be hit or miss as a rapper though, but i still like him more than lil b.

Vans definitely started the era... Before Vans,

Everyone in rap was wearing true religions and skull chains with horribly designed screen printed shirts with skulls and crosses on them.

OR they were wearing evisu jeans wth bapes...

After Vans, tighter pants and skate shoes were in, and as soon as Wayne jumped on the vans remix and dressing like a skater it was a wrap.

Always

Trust me fam. My friends and I were skating and punk and indie as fukk when the hood would call us fakkits for wearing tight pants, elements shirts, and trucker caps. It's cool now, but it's cool because kids like me were doing it without fear of shame.

S/O to NERD for putting black nerds on. S/O to The Clipse. After they cosigned rocker kids we were safer in the hood. Even now real indie and skater kids aren't really allowed, but hey, fukk it, I'll take the compliments.

Special S/O to The Cool Kids. None of this would exist without them and Dip Set. Big ups Whiz Khalifa for putting nice kids who smoke weed on.

I couldn't be the man I am without those cats.
