Lil Gandolph is gonna sink this whole project. I get wanting to keep some continuity between how Tony looks but sometimes you just gotta hire the best actor for the role and deal with the few people who care that the prequel actor looks nothing like the main.

Sopranos was clear about this, he died when Chris was a baby and Tony is only 8-10 years older than him.

The trailer was too action packed for a sopranos movie. I hope those were all the action scenes and the rest of the movie is on some goodfellas shyt.

Always wanted them to do a prequel of Avon and Stringer growing up in the ‘80s

they kinda teased it, they showed clips of a young Prop Joe and Omar.

I guess the issue was the ratings and when BET replayed the show it didn't help.

Even the real Avon Barksdale being salty kinda hurt too.

The Wire topped it. I remember when dudes got mad at me for saying The Wire was better.

Personally The Wire was better written because it told the story of corruption on a Marco level. the Sopranos focused on a family. It was way easier and less complex to write The Sopranos and it was for The Wire. The Wire examined the system in detail the Sopranos did not.
