I disagree. Now you won't ever be a Drake with out a super stripper anthem that gets 1,000 spins a week but I think there is a lane for not strip club anthems. Currensy for example has a nice lane making laid back music to smoke to.
Most artists starve regardless of trends though. Iyou for sticking with it.
True, it does in a sense if we are talking about these songs not necessarily being strip club songs but just over the top sexually. They are getting away with saying things more out in the open but sex has been selling in music forever. We just don't use crappy metaphors and loose wording like 'All I wanna do is stick my zoom zoom in your boom boom' anymore.
