I can't understand how his one-offs and guest spots have been so good the last couple of years, and then he drops that terrible Yupp single

Just give me one more classic, I know it's in there somewhere :sadcam:

Ghost has dropped some dope projects. He’s dropped like 5 albums the past 5,6 years. He just doesn’t have buzz so it doesn’t get pub.
He dropped Ghostface Killahs, which is just okay, and Czarface meets Ghostface which is decent. If you count Lost Tapes thats 3 albums over 8 years.

I'm being picky because he was really active and dropped a bunch of dope projects the first half of the 10s. Would love another BBNG project or Adrian Younge, or whoever else he wants to collab with.

Dope. Ghost sounds really good on the new Muggs album too.

I view Ghost and Nas very similarly :they rap to the drums. You give them some low bpm, slow drum shyt and you're gonna get pondering and slow rhymes that (often) don't sound great. Give them a break beat or any type of faster/harder drums and they're gonna rap aggressively. IMO Ghost's problem was that he got roped into that Adrian Younge style live instrumentation shyt with slow ass drums. Some of those beats sounded like a backing track you'd hear during a dialogue scene in a Blaxploitation film. I def feel like he wasted years doing projects like that.

yea idk what that Yupp thing was. Ghost can still spit but the decision making has been hit or miss

i think we've waited long enough for SC 2, where is it??

Exactly. His features the last few years have been solid. Get him some good production and he will deliver another classic.

Adrian Younge's stuff was soooo weak. I've erased it from my memory.
