It’s just crazy how attention-starved people are now. At least with FB, and IG when it launched, people were confined to their friends’ list really, but Tik Tok has these people wanting worldwide recognition from complete strangers. I don’t get it.

From my experience, this happens often but people are usually more subtle with this especially after high school.

Especially in my profession, I've had quite a few non-Blacks in my field compliment me for being well spoken and articulate while they never would describe each other that way despite using similar diction.

I even had an old White woman nickname me "Obama" and claim that I remind her of him like wtf.
